Leadership can be a lot. We’re here to help you level up.

Join us in I.G.’s intimate, global Leadership Lab. Over the course of six weeks, we’ll support you to master the operational skills your organisation needs, while building the personal brand and career clarity you need to thrive.

At a Glance

Leadership Lab is a six-week holistic experience that addresses all aspects of leadership. We’ll support you to resource yourself, establish boundaries and prevent burnout, level up your practical management skills, refine your personal brand, and build connections with like-minded professionals. At the end of the programme, you’ll walk away with:

  • The Motivational Stuff: An articulation of your unique professional strengths and superpowers, and a Theory of Change for your career that you (actually) find motivating.

  • The Technical Stuff: Expert training in line management, financial literacy, strategic decision-making, and time management, as well as space to hack a specific organisational or business challenge.

  • The Personal Branding Stuff: We ensure you're not just doing great work, you're known for it. You’ll leave with a polished LinkedIn bio and headshot you can be proud of and the foundation for whatever else you can dream up, from speaker pitches to thought leadership strategies.

  • The Network Stuff: A diverse group of cross-sector allies to open doors to long-term cooperation and peer support.

Dates for the Next Lab: 8th September-13th October, 2026. Can’t make September? Get notified about future dates.

Who Should Apply

This programme is for you if you work in an impact-centred organisation or business and at least one of the below statements apply:

✔ I have management and/or leadership responsibilities

✔ I line manage others within my organisation

✔ I've recently been promoted, or started a new job at a higher seniority level

The Syllabus

You’ll be spending six weeks with Team I.G. and an intimate cohort of like-minded leaders as we cover the following core areas. In addition to the below, there will be a weekly (1hr) Action Learning Set where you’ll get support to navigate a professional / organisational challenge, and a private Leadership Lab online group for peer support, connections and community.

  • Week 1: Defining Your Why

We’ll host a Lab Launch, articulate our goals for the programme and explore our personal theories of change for our careers.

  • Week 2: Operations Leadership

We’ll dive into the practical stuff - financial literacy, strategic thinking and decision-making. This is open to all levels of understanding and experience (we promise it won’t be too basic or too inaccessible).

  • Week 3: People Leadership

We’ll dive into line management, influencing in all directions, navigating hard conversations and Dreaded Drama Triangles (hint: they’re everywhere).

  • Week 4: Self Leadership

We’ll explore strengths-based leadership, models to articulate your Zone of Genius, time management & efficiency, and wellbeing & burnout.

  • Week 5: Personal Branding

Yep, you read that correctly. Like it or not, personal branding is part of leadership, so we’re here to help you create a LinkedIn profile, headshot and pitch that is a match to your highest self (and doesn’t make you cringe).

  • Week 6: Bringing It Together

In our final session together, we’ll take stock of everything we’ve learned, share our progress towards our personal and organisational goals, and (re)introduce ourselves as the new leaders we’ve become.

  • “I never came away from a session and felt, ‘Oh, ditching the meeting I had in the same slot wasn’t worth it’. It was always worth it.”

    - Lab Participant, Cohort 1

  • "The Action Learning Sets were incredible - it felt like I didn’t even need therapy anymore. They solved all my problems!”

    - Lab Participant, Cohort 1

  • “I came seeking answers and came away with a community and renewed sense of confidence. I am deeply appreciative of the respect and acknowledgement that ran through the course.”

    - Lab Participant, Cohort 1

  • "I loved every session and workshop."

Need to get budget approval? We know that securing sign-off for professional development can take some convincing. Request a Programme Summary to show decision makers the value this programme brings back to you and your organisation.

  • Investment

If you are paying for the programme yourself - your spot will cost £1,000 GBP.

If your organisation/employer is paying - your spot will cost £1,500 GBP.

We have a very small amount of funding to offer sponsorship places for organisations and individuals who otherwise wouldn’t be able to access leadership training. How To Apply

We deliberately keep our cohorts small to ensure an intimate, high-impact environment. Because of this, applications and payments are reviewed on a rolling basis until the cohort is full.

Step 1: Express your interest. Click here to answer a few quick questions. It takes 60 seconds and tells us exactly which leadership challenges you want to tackle.

Step 2: We check you’re a good fit. Once you submit your interest in the next cohort, our team will review your current goals. You can ask questions via email or book a quick virtual coffee if that’s your style.

Step 3: Secure your spot. If it’s a match, we’ll handle the logistics and onboarding so you’re ready for Day 1.

Still unsure if the Lab is for you? Read our Senior Advisor Caitlin’s blog on the origins of the Leadership Lab, or join our notification list if you want to mull it over.
