Our 100-day global Fellowship is the world’s first blended programme for funders and fundraisers. Our sector is under pressure like never before and business as usual just isn’t cutting it. But in times of crisis - opportunity emerges. With expert teaching to evolve best practice, systems change projects to reimagine what’s possible, and peer coaching to build bridges from even the most unlikely angles, we can co-create a funding system fit for the future.

At a Glance

Join us in I.G.’s immersive #FixTheFlow Fellowship. This isn’t your average professional development experience. Over the course of 100 days, you’ll get get exclusive, affordable access to coaching, training, and special projects. It includes:

  • Customised Learning Route: Monthly learning sessions on priority topics for fundraisers and grantmakers to help you level up your game today, complemented by masterclasses with sector experts. We know not everyone is at the same career stage. Rest assured, we’ve got you covered. Your learning journey will be tailored to you.

  • Systems-Change Collaboration: We’re passionate about providing imagination infrastructure. Part of the value of this Fellowshop is being able to imagine a sustainable, equitable funding system of the future. Using a human-centred design process, we’ll equip you to do just that and build your own Action Projects for change, collaborating as Funders and Fundraisers.

  • Peer Mentoring: Facilitated action learning sets with peers and insight into how others are facing shared challenges.

  • An Unstoppable Community: Access to our Global Fellow community platform, including a dedicated area for your specific cohort, as well as a central space for all Fellows, across all cohorts, to connect. After the 100 days, the journey doesn’t end. All Fellows have lifetime access to our international alumni network with exclusive invites to alumni-only events and opportunities.

  • Individual Coaching: A personalised audit of your current individual and organisational learning needs, alongside 1:1 coaching with an I.G. expert consultant.

  • Access to I.G.’s Expertise (& Discounts): By joining our community, you’ll have access to the expertise and insights of our nonprofit, philanthropist and grant givers network. We’re also thrilled to provide discounts on other I.G. services, including coaching, partnership audits and full strategies.

Our Impact

In the first five cohorts of #FixTheFlow we’ve seen transformational impact for fundraisers and grant givers at all levels of seniority. Of Fellows who have already completed the Fellowship, our surveys show:

Who Should Apply

This programme is global, and delivered virtually to suit your schedule. There are two customised strands designed for:

  • Fundraisers focused on high-value audiences (e.g, trusts, foundations, corporates and individual major donors). 

  • Funders doing grant making or programme management within Foundations (e.g. family foundations, corporate foundations, public foundations).

We seek diversity of experience, thought, cause area and geography.

The Syllabus

You’ll be spending 100 days with Team I.G. and an intimate cohort of like-minded social impact professionals. A typical month will include three core sessions (with individual coaching scheduled at your convenience).

    • Kick Off Workshop

    • A systems change session introducing human-centred design methodology and asking what is #ResourceActivism? We’ll also articulate our ‘guiding star’ for the funding system of the future.

  • Learning Workshop

    • Fundraisers: Fundraising Strategy 101, Asset Mapping & Donor Offering

    • Funders: Philanthropy 101, Theory of Change

    Resource Activism Workshop

    • A systems change session learning about complex systems and power, and developing individual and collective action questions.

    Peer Power Session

    • An Action Learning Set style session where you’ll get support from a mini group of peers to hack a burning personal or organisational challenge.

  • Learning Workshop

    • Fundraisers: Prospect Research & Network Mapping, Partnership-Building

    • Funders: Risk, Bravery & Learning, Strengthening the Ecosystem

    • All: Team Resourcing & Target Setting

    Resource Activism Workshop

    • A systems change session on the Three Horizons Model of change. We’ll also begin brainstorming Action Project ideas.

    Peer Power Session

    • An Action Learning Set style session where you’ll get support from a mini group of peers to hack a burning personal or organisational challenge.

  • Learning Workshop

    • Fundraisers: Mastering the Messaging & Communicating Impact

    • Funders: Elegant Exits

    • All: Leadership of Fundraising and Grantmaking

    Resource Activism Workshop

    • A systems change session. In groups, you’ll work to develop a proposal for your Action Project.

    Peer Power Session

    • An Action Learning Set style session where you’ll get support from a mini group of peers to hack a burning personal or organisational challenge.

    Retrospective Session

    • Build momentum and reflect on our journey. Present your Action Project idea, and review the collective ideas, to consider any you would like to be involved with going forward.

  • Fellows can choose from three plan options based on the level of bespoke support they want to navigate challenges and accelerate growth.

    • Core: Full Fellowship experience. Content, community & cohort space - with no 1:1 coaching.

    • Plus: For ambitious changemakers to grow skills and have two tailored 1:1 coaching sessions.

    • All Access: For practitioners ready to level up with deep integration, and three 1:1 coaching sessions with I.G. Senior Leaders.

    These are scheduled at your convenience during, or after, the programme.

The Investment & Details

  • Investment

    Participation in the Fix the Flow Fellowship starts at £1,000 GBP (VAT applicable for UK residents), to access all core #FixTheFlow sessions, with plan options based on the level of personalised coaching you’d like to receive:

    Plan 1 – £1,000: All core learning sessions, without the 1-1 coaching.

    Plan 2 – £1,500: Core sessions and two coaching sessions. Stay accountable, deepen your thinking, and get tailored support as your journey unfolds.

    Plan 3 – £2000: Core sessions and three bespoke coaching sessions with I.G.’s Senior Leadership team, to turn insight into action. Designed for strategic integration, and unrestricted access to everything the Fellowship has to offer.

  • Key Dates

    Cohort 6: January, 2026.

  • Location

    This is a virtual and global programme.

    All Fellowship sessions will take place online, usually on a Wednesday afternoon (London, UK Time) to accommodate for diverse time zones.

    Recordings will be available for anyone who can’t make it.

  • Time Commitment

    Expect to spend about 6 hours / month minimum on the #FixTheFlow Fellowship.

    This will include: 1 learning session, 1 systems change workshop, 1 peer power session, and some personal homework. Coaching can be scheduled flexibly whenever it suits you.

There’s a 10 minute application form, which will help us understand what you're hoping to get out of the Fellowship, your experience in the sector, and whether this programme is the right fit for your needs. We’ll then review this and if everything is aligned we’ll give you access to the community, at which point you’ll be able to make a payment.
