Juliet Cockram Agnew

Juliet Cockram Agnew's career has focused on connecting high impact social causes with those who have the resources to truly make a difference. Juliet has worked in the fields of international development and philanthropy for more than eleven years, in a variety of senior and leadership roles and settings. She has worked for individual philanthropists, foundations and financial institutions, as well as charities and social enterprises. Her experience is diverse, including the setting up and running of charitable foundations, private and corporate giving programmes; the management and growing of charities to achieve greater sustainability; and development of a philanthropy platform for a global wealth management bank.

Juliet was most recently a Director of UBS Philanthropy Services UK, where she advised UHNW and HNW clients of UBS on effective giving, developed global philanthropy solutions and connected high impact causes with donors. During this time, she managed innovative fundraising campaigns to leverage more than £6million into selected causes. After a year in post, this newly formed philanthropy service was nominated for two industry awards.

Previously, Juliet worked as Foundation Director for the emerging markets investment manager, Ashmore, where she developed the oversaw the company's global philanthropic strategy spanning charitable investments across 7 countries. Juliet is also a Director (trustee) of the Nationwide Foundation, an award-winning UK grant- making Foundation.

Juliet has Masters degrees from Oxford University and University College London, a Certificate in Grant-making, Philanthropy and Social Investment from Cass Business School and has undertaken field-based, Harvard Business School-led training in social enterprise.

In her spare time Juliet is a voracious traveller, foodie and yogi.
